Whip It!

Kiwi executive produces this coming of age comedy about a misfit teenage girl (Ellen Page) who stumbles into the world of female roller derby and, lo and behold, finds her calling.

Directed by Drew Barrymore, with an amazing debut screenplay by Shauna Cross (based on her novel).

My guess is that it will be released in Fall 2009, or early 2010.
